Cornell's energy-efficient Thermiser® Insulated Rolling Doors combines the robustness of a rolling steel door with foamed in place insulation. This offers superior protection against the elements, improved security and reduced sound transmission – both outside your building, sealing the building envelope, and inside.
These Rolling Doors are designed for exterior openings where maintaining different temperatures, (also known as environmental separation) on each side of the door is necessary and/or desirable. The full perimeter seal of these energy-efficient doors also reduces sound transmission compared to non-insulated rolling doors.
The doors are constructed for daily use and can withstand operation of up to 20 cycles per day – that’s 50,000 cycles for the lifetime of the door. If your requirements call for more than 20 cycles per day, or 50,000 cycles lifetime, check out our High Performance Doors
The Thermiser Max® Insulated Rolling Door is the most energy-efficient insulated rolling door available today, with the certifications to prove it. This door has it all while decreasing air infiltration by 94% versus standard products, and can help you achieve up to 38 points in five LEED certification credit categories.
Thermiser Max Insulated Rolling Doors meet ASHRAE ® 90.1 and IECC® (International Energy Conservation Code) 2015 Section C402.5.2 Air Infiltration requirements with an independently tested value of less than .3 CFM/FT2.
